U.S. and Iran Exchange Prisoners in Deal

WASHINGTON—Iran introduced U.S. Navy veteran Michael White following approximately two years in custody on Thursday as aspect of a prisoner deal negotiated with Iran, a U.S. official and other folks included in the trade said.

Mr. White, who endured from acute bronchial asthma and a recurrence of most cancers in prison, was introduced on health care furlough to the Swiss Embassy in March on the issue he remained in Iran. He afterwards was identified with Covid-19 and admitted to an Iranian healthcare facility.
