Finalists have been revealed for this year’s Black British Enterprise Awards, an once-a-year party that celebrates the achievements of some of the UK’s top corporate bosses and business people.
Now in its eighth calendar year, the awards spotlight “exceptional company talent” across 6 industries: arts and media customer and luxurious commence-ups monetary services expert services and STEM (science, tech, engineering and maths).
Among the the 39 businesspeople shortlisted are Taponeswa Mavunga, director of Africa at Sony Songs British isles, Akima Paul-Lambert, litigation lover at Hogan Lovells, and Edgar Chibaka and Jamal Tahlil, co-founders of Leeds-primarily based safety business Initially Response Team.
