George Floyd’s Killing Sparks Protests in Europe, Soul-Searching in France

PARIS—The killing of George Floyd has sparked marches and sporadic vandalism in Europe. In France, it has rekindled controversies more than institutional racism and police violence in a society divided following the monthslong yellow-vest protests.

Countless numbers gathered in guidance of the Black Life Issue movement in Frankfurt and Berlin.
