Italians Are Being Treated as a Risk Abroad Over Coronavirus

ROME—When the coronavirus outbreak started in China, a wave of anxiety and mistrust towards Chinese persons swept as a result of Italy. Chinese dining establishments couldn’t fill tables, although some Chinese holidaymakers confronted abuse on the streets. Italy, on your own in Europe so far, banned all immediate flights from China.
