Karnataka poultry players urge Centre to allow duty free imports of 12 lakh tonnes of soyameal

As increasing feed charges drive up the generation costs, the poultry sector in Karnataka has urged the Union governing administration to stage in and let responsibility free of charge imports of twelve lakh tonnes (lt) of soyabean food right away.

The Karnataka Poultry Farmers & Breeders Association (KPFBA) has urged the Centre to let responsibility free of charge imports of soyameal, one of the most important substances of the poultry feed.
