Ross Stores Promotes Adam Orvos to CFO

Ross Outlets promoted Adam Orvos to govt vice president and main economic officer, productive Oct one. 

Orvos joined the retailer in January as group senior vice president of supply chain administration. As CFO, Orvos will be accountable for the retailer’s accounting, treasury, economic preparing, tax, corporate social duty, and investor relations features. 

His 34 yrs of retail administration experience involves serving as finance main of Neiman Marcus, Belk Division Outlets, and the Foley’s division of The May Division Outlets Corporation. He has also held senior govt roles at Lowe’s and Whole Wine & Additional.

“Adam is a talented senior govt who provides several yrs of economic management and a wide operational qualifications to his new posture of CFO for Ross,” said Barbara Rentler, main govt officer.  “We are assured that his demonstrated economic administration experience, small business acumen, and deep knowing of the retail field will be worthwhile assets as he assumes this essential function for the enterprise.”

Orvos replaces Travis Marquette, who resigned in July to take above as president and main functioning officer of Burlington Outlets. Marquette joined Ross in 2008 and held a selection of roles including group senior vice president, deputy CFO, and senior vice president of finance.

Considering that Marquette still left Ross, the company’s finance executives have noted to main functioning officer Michael Hartshorn.
