U.S. Spy Agencies Unable to Pinpoint Source of Covid-19, Classified Report Shows

WASHINGTON—U.S. intelligence organizations are unable to establish conclusively how the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, a summary of a categorised report introduced Friday said.

Four organizations assessed, with low self esteem, that it achieved humans by using contaminated animals, the summary said, but a single argued with moderate self esteem that it was the outcome of a lab accident.

The summary, drawn from a much extended categorised report introduced to President Biden on Tuesday, is unequivocal on two important points.

“We judge the virus was not formulated as a organic weapon,” it said. And, it said, U.S. spy organizations do not consider that Chinese officials had foreknowledge of the virus, SARS-COV-two, right before the outbreak emerged.

Most organizations assessed, however with low self esteem, that the virus was not genetically engineered, while two said there was not enough details to make a judgment, the report said.
